Kevin and Sandra Munz, proprietors of Cullen’s Upscale American Grille, created the Cullen’s Cares initiative as a means to give back to the community that has supported their family’s Bay Area enterprise. 

Interested representatives of local organizations, such as churches, booster clubs, cheer squads, youth athletics programs, parents’ groups, and charitable entities can earn cash donations for their clubs and causes just by dining at Cullen’s Upscale American Grille.

Here's How It Works:

• A qualified member of the organization must complete a Cullen’s Cares application, available at the restaurant’s reception area or by clicking on the link to the right.

 • Cullen’s will issue a Cullen’s Cares card for each member of the organization (16 years of age or older) with a minimum of ten cards required. 

 • Each time that an organization member presents their Cullen’s Cares card when making a dining purchase in either Cullen’s main dining room or the Grille, 10% of the check amount (excluding alcoholic beverages, tax and gratuity), will be credited to the organization’s rewards account. Only one Cullen’s Cares card will be credited per table, per dining occasion. 

 • After an initial setup charge of $2 per card, which will be covered by the first monies spent by that organization’s members at the restaurant under this program, Cullen’s will issue a quarterly check made payable to the organization for the reward funds accumulated, up to $5,000 per year. At the time of its registration, in lieu of the 10% reward, the organization may opt to have 15% of their expenditures credited towards an organization event such as a banquet, meeting, luncheon, or convention at Cullen’s. 

 • Expenditures by Cullen’s Cares cardholders for banquets, weddings, corporate meetings, special events, receptions and Macy’s Table bookings are not eligible for credits to the donation fund. Cullen’s will, however, credit up to $1,000 to the cardholder’s organization for any single event booked through the Cullen’s event department. 

 • Cullen’s Cares cards have no cash value and are issued at the discretion of Cullen’s Upscale American Grille. Cullen’s reserves the right to cancel the Cullen’s Care program without notice. If the program is cancelled, all monies accrued will be paid within thirty days of the cancellation date.
